The hotel sits in a modest neighbourhood, so we were pleasantly surprised by this elegant little gem. The room was comfortable. The shower felt like a spa. Breakfast was plentiful with many options and the staff were friendly and helpful. There isn’t easy parking next to the hotel, but a parking garage is within two blocks, which solves the parking issue nicely.

A welcoming, charming hotel in the old town. The building is a characterful stone mansion with a fantastic stone staircase in the interior open‑air courtyard where the excellent breakfast (worth getting!) is served. Our room wasn’t huge but was definitely adequate in space and perfect in comfort. There’s a small bar and a communal area downstairs. All the staff went out of their way to be really helpful and friendly. Nîmes is a fascinating city with an immediately evident laid‑back and great atmosphere, and this hotel is the perfect place to experience it. I’m looking forward to returning to Nîmes partly because of how much we liked the hotel!

The hotel’s aesthetics, cleanliness, comfort, proximity to attractions, and staff availability are all great. The breakfast price is quite high at 18 euros. Parking spots are very limited or nonexistent if you want free parking, so you’re forced to use a paid underground lot. Night‑time noise from nightlife is present, but the hotel has double glazing and air‑conditioning, which helps. The city centre’s traffic can feel unsafe. The street bins are overflowing everywhere. The smoking ban in the open patio forces smokers to go outside, which isn’t cool, and not everyone is a non‑smoker.
