The hotel sits in a great spot, but it really needs some TLC; it feels tired and threadbare in spots, the bed base was falling apart, and the bathroom sealant was discolored. Breakfast was decent, the staff were lovely, but the place could use a fresh investment to avoid being too basic—there was no tea or coffee, toilet paper was scarce, the room needed a refurb and new bed, and the furniture was stained and dated. I’ve already mentioned all of that.

The rooms were spotless and cozy, and they always left two water bottles when they cleaned. It’s super close to everything and feels safe any time of day.

The pool, the friendly staff, and the proximity to the local food market and massage shops were all positives, but the pool didn’t open until 8 am and I wanted to swim before breakfast; a buffet breakfast would have been preferable.

The hotel was pleasant and well‑located, breakfast was limited but there weren’t many guests, so it was a strict minimum. The pool was dirty and the water was green.
