A garden surrounds the property, and the hotel lies 2.5 km from La Spezia train station, providing easy access to the Cinque Terre UNESCO heritage sites.

The house sits high above La Spezia, giving a fantastic view of the city, the Gulf, and distant mountains. Reception was very friendly, the house information clear and understandable – a bottle of “Sparkling wine” was offered at the welcome, though it was only supermarket quality, still a nice gesture. Breakfast was good and plentiful – almost luxurious by Italian standards. Parking on the street works well – there are 2–3 spots in front of the B&B, but they’re pricey. The drive from the city to the B&B is somewhat “challenging” – every bend has parked cars and the road is relatively narrow because of the parked cars everywhere. The oncoming traffic can be heavy at times – but that’s not new in Italy.

Continental breakfast was a bit different from the usual Italian breakfast, just a sandwich, a few slices of cold cuts, and an extra egg. The bathroom in our room was really small.

The view was superb. Breakfast was good. Bedding was decent. Parking was available, though not easy to access. The hair dryer was missing – if I come back, I’ll bring my own.

Beautiful views and a very comfortable room that was cleaned every day. The sheets and towels were clean and fragrant, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty, especially with the view. The staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend it.
