“Quartier calme aux abords de la forêt”
The owner was friendly, speaking only Romanian but trying to speak English with laughter and smiles. The room was small with double glazing and a mosquito net; the bathroom was dark; the neighbourhood was quiet. Everything was very clean, even the shower grout, which is extremely rare. Room 1, next to the kitchen, was noisy when neighbors dined late and talked loudly. The view was of a building under construction next door and of trash bins under the balcony, the smell was annoying and spoiled the view. There were no bedside lamps despite sockets behind the bed. It is a shame the large garden with tables, chairs, and a swing was left unused for guests. The streets are very steep to reach the city centre. The dog was a bit annoying.
