The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great local tips. The rooms and common area are tastefully furnished, and the bed is especially comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and always freshly made, making me feel right at home. Only a minor gripe: in this damp area, a heater or fan would help towels dry faster after a shower, though that wasn’t an issue during my stay.

The whole family was attentive at the welcome, and they gave good advice, but the disastrous weather prevented us from enjoying all that Nuwara Eliya has to offer, especially the proximity to Gregory Lake. The breakfast is very complete and hearty. Despite the blankets, we felt cold, a feeling of chill amplified by the ambient humidity. The hot‑water system was erratic, but Rajith responded quickly to our requests.

Sweet little place, everything you need is there. The bathroom was separate from the bedroom, but that was no issue at all. The location isn’t exactly ideal; there aren’t many appealing restaurants nearby. It was very cold at night, but that’s just the climate and we weren’t prepared, so it’s more our fault.
