“Worth a stay”

The staff were excellent, the room was clean and tidy, and the continental breakfast cost $180 per night—much less than the $250 at the other property, no comparison.

“An uncomfortable and noisy nights stay.”

The staff helped with a booking error from a third‑party site, happily providing extra towels and pillows, and they allowed small dogs and pets, which was very helpful; however, the bathroom was disgusting and mouldy, the place was noisy because of a main road, some tenants smoked near the front doors (not great for a pregnant woman), and overall cleanliness was very poor.

“It was a place stay, but very disappointed for the price”

The location is close enough to all the amenities you could need—service station, food outlets, etc.—and access is very easy from Ruthven Street; there are good undercover parking bays at your room door, and the rooms are about the size one would expect, but cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There is a microwave in the room but I wouldn't use it because it isn't properly cleaned and is rusty inside. The smaller bed had dirty marks on the outer sheets, the mattress was far too soft with no support, mould was in the bathroom, and the water pressure was poor, with hot water taking an eternity to come through. Although there were tall bar chairs to sit at, there were no normal chairs at all.

The spot was close to the shopping centre and easy to get around. The breakfast that came with the stay was very limited, and it only refreshed if you were among the first to arrive. The kitchenette left a lot to be desired – it was dirty, lacked dish‑washing soap, had no plug for the sink, and the tea towels were filthy. In the bathroom we only found a single small soap bar that lasted the entire four days, with nothing ever refilled. I asked for a hairdryer on the second day but never received one, so I had to buy my own. I wouldn’t suggest anyone book this place.
