The staff were kind but overworked; the hotel itself was dilapidated and desperately needed a refresh, with thick limescale staining the toilet bowl, pervasive dampness, a cramped breakfast room that felt unpleasant, a buffet that ran out of plates and never refilled, an employee complaining she was alone and could not manage everything, and the location in a rough downtown area with gyms and gyms under the windows that made it hard to leave for dinner in peace.

Both supper and breakfast surpassed our expectations, and we’ll definitely return; there was nothing to dislike and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The reception was friendly, the room was spacious, and breakfast was good, but the room was very dirty with dust everywhere, and the view looked out onto a noisy road and a huge parking lot that stayed loud until midnight.
