I have celiac, so the only thing I could eat was yogurt. Coffee was good. We were in Columbia City for my uncle’s funeral and there really aren’t many hotel options. I will NOT return, even if I have to drive to Fort Wayne. This is actually the second time we stayed there and both times the place was dirty. Hair in the corners of the bathroom, the bathroom had dried dirty mop water, the sink spicket was dirty. The lobby area needs a good deep cleaning.

Breakfast was not very good. Location was ok. You only make up the room every 2 days, but there are NO towel racks or other place to hang wet towels. Either make up the room every day, or install towel racks. There was space in the bathroom for towel racks. The first room we checked into had not been made up at all and it was in the evening. For the second room, Housekeeping left us with 1/2 tool of toilet paper and 3 Kleenex in the box. There were no sheets or pillow for the roll-out bed, even thought I reserved for three adults. I had to go to the desk to get all these things

The spot was in a decent area, but the breakfast was awful—coffee was too strong, eggs were terrible; they’re obviously not fresh eggs, just a substitute.

The place was filthy and the staff were unhelpful, even having a weird conference call on speakerphone while we checked in. Nobody said a word to us and we got a key to a room that was still dirty. The whole property, including the elevator, looked unclean.

The room was roomy and the bed was comfy, and the location was close to restaurants and shops. However, there was no coffee in the room, and I couldn’t control the split unit with either the unit controls or the thermostat; the room stayed at 64 °F. The TV worked fine from a distance, but the shower tiles need replacing.
