“Absolute luxury - best place to stay in South Australia”

The accommodation was absolutely spectacular, the bed so cozy, all amenities beautifully presented, the huge windows overlooking the vineyards offered a stunning view of wildlife and peaceful surroundings, and the huge bath was a definite bonus. Nothing to complain about; we just wish we could have stayed longer.

“A beautiful, peaceful and tranquil stay.”

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and wonderfully quiet, creating a very relaxing environment that made our stay calm and enjoyable. We both liked the room overall—it was clean, comfortable and dust‑free—but the bathroom could have been better stocked. Both sides of the double shower ran out of shower gel, so we had to go to reception for another bottle. We also saw a stain on the bed blanket that looked like red wine or possibly blood, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, we enjoyed the stay a lot, but a little more attention to room preparation and linen checks would have made it even better.

“Spectacular Stay in McLaren Vale”

I absolutely loved staying at Inkwell Wines—every detail was gorgeous, from the stunning view to the elegant room and the exquisite wines. I’ll definitely return for a longer stay. Jared made the experience even better as a fantastic host, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The original Aboriginal art in the room added a special touch. If I could give more than 10, I would.

“Lovely beautiful place to disconnect from the daily rut and to see the sunset from your bed.”

The location was beautiful, and the view from the room was stunning; even while sitting in the bathtub I could see the winery. However, there was no microwave to heat food.

The view was great, but the bathroom had poor ventilation and I had to open the window to clear the musty smell.
