“A luxurious, relaxing stay”

I was upgraded to a garden suite which was really lovely and luxurious, with a hot tub and an area to sit outside. The room wasn't ready when I arrived so the staff offered to take my luggage to my room if I wanted to have a drink or walk to the beach. I walked down to the beach and collected some sea glass. The staff at the hotel were all really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the Zen Garden, spa and pool and had a delicious 3 course meal in the dining room in the evening then watched the stars from the hot tub. The bed was super king size and very comfortable. I liked having checkout at 12pm as I had time to return to the spa after a very tasty breakfast. I left feeling very relaxed and zen and would like to plan a return trip next year. Nothing

“The worst hotel in every department that we’ve ever stayed in”

The place looked like it needed a makeover, yet the price tag was outrageous for such a dreadful hotel. The breakfast reservation was ignored, and drinks were served in the wrong glasses because the correct ones had supposedly been stolen or broken. The seats were wet from guests who had come in gowns with damp swimsuits underneath; we had to bring fresh clothes to sit on them, only to be told “don’t worry, they’ll dry soon.” The restaurant offered a very poor selection of food. A vacuum cleaner and mop/bucket were left outside the room for hours, and no one ever offered to give us a tour. The towel rack was hanging off the bath, and the towels themselves were grey, thin, and old. A previous guest, who still had the key, stood at the foot of our bed at 11:30 pm while we slept; he’d held the key for days. We left valuables in the room for spa treatments that afternoon, and the water in the refilled bottles had green necks. When we asked for it to be replaced, we were told, “What’s wrong with it?” Absolutely appalling.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, with staff, amenities, and food that I couldn’t fault at all 😋. No negatives.

“Excellent as always”

I’ve stayed here several times and every visit feels special and relaxing. The rooms, beds, and suite facilities are excellent, breakfasts are superb, and the spa—including the upgraded outdoor area—is very good. The staff are friendly, appropriate, and eager to provide great service. Nothing negative.
