Location, breakfast, and friendly staff were all good, but the rooms were small and the beds uncomfortable.

“Brilliant location and modern hotel”

I only stayed one night, so it’s hard to judge, but the location is excellent for West Cork, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney, etc.; the room was spacious with high ceilings and a double bed. The key‑card entry system was efficient and energy‑saving, and the TV and tea‑making facilities in the room were modern. Ann‑Marie was great at breakfast. However, no one was at reception when I arrived, the kettle boiled over when overfilled, there was no iron or ironing board, and the shower was difficult to adjust to the right temperature. There was no cooked breakfast, but the continental option worked for me. Sometimes the lobby was noisy, the bar closed early, and I can’t remember if the heating kicked on.
