The owner of the inn is a wonderful person! She gave us all the assistance we needed and shared a lot about the São Jorge community. The inn is clean, comfortable, and in the center of the village. I recommend everyone stay there. I liked everything.

Good location, the owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were fine; however, there was no soap or soap dishes, and the room lacked a trash can (the bathroom did have one).

The little pousada run by Dona Teia feels snug right in the middle of the Cerrado, and the staff are genuinely caring. Her homemade breakfast is tasty, the room was spotless and the linens smelled fresh, and she knows the area like the back of her hand—ask her for tips and she’ll set you up. The downside is that breakfast is served in the next block, not on the property, and there’s no sign or façade to point you in, so first‑time guests can get lost unless they arrange a meeting time.
