We booked a room for three adults, but the extra bed in the room was an uncomfortable futon; it should have been a proper bed, not a folding one. I’m 59 and believe me, I’ve never slept so poorly. Too bad. However, the double bed for two people was fine, and the mattress was very comfortable. The only problem was that the third person’s bed was not suitable for sleeping.

The welcome was great. The room was spacious and comfortable, the shaded parking was convenient, and the manager wasn’t taken. It wasn’t a problem for us, but the stairs could be an issue for some people. Just a heads‑up.

I booked this place because I had an early flight out of Charleroi, and it worked out perfectly. The owner arranged a €25 taxi for me, and if I needed to leave my car at the parking lot for the duration of my stay, that was fine too. The rooms were plain, but that didn’t bother me at all.
