I stayed in July/26 to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Everything was amazing! The chalet surpassed all expectations and has become our benchmark for future stays. Gilmara and her husband are extremely helpful and attentive. Access is via a quiet dirt road. My advice to travelers is to download the region map offline and follow the host’s directions to get there. We’ll definitely return! Unfortunately I couldn’t extend my stay for another day because of a work commitment, but the feeling is that no matter how long you stay, it’s not enough to fully enjoy this paradise.

The chalet itself is fantastic, with a breathtaking view and a breakfast that really hits the spot. But the location turned out to be way farther than the listing said, and we only got the exact address via WhatsApp after we arrived. The climb up is super steep – not every car or bike can handle it, and that should have been mentioned.

It’s not just a place to stay; it’s an experience. The chalet is well‑built, the layout is spot‑on, and the view is incredible – we made the most of it. The hosts were super attentive, offering info, tours, food, and everything we needed. The private river trail we had our own path for was worth more than any waterfall in the area. Breakfast was tasty and generous, leaving us with snacks for the day. All in all, 10/10. We left, haha.
