The room had a strong odor, like someone had sweated in the bed and the scent soaked the mattress. The bathroom also reeked of mold, and we kept it closed because it was unbearable. The toilet was broken and never fixed after earlier complaints; the parts are still visible. This problem has been mentioned many times before, but nothing seems to have been done. The thick duvet was missing its cover, so we had to put it inside ourselves, and it had human stains, which is totally unacceptable. Insects were in the room and we had to throw them out the window. I would not recommend staying here.

Very clean, huge room with a bathroom. The room had air‑conditioning, fresh linens, and was very close to the town centre.

Right in the city centre. The room was full of spiders and had stains on the walls, and the bed was very uncomfortable. One bathroom light was broken, the bathroom smelled awful and was not clean, and the toilet smelled like urine. The shared kitchen and fridge were dirty too.

The only bright spot was the location. As soon as you step through the gate it looks like a landfill, and you have to climb stairs up to the front door – but there’s no lighting! The building is dirty and rundown. The room was damp, moldy, and still smelled afterward. We counted six spiders in the bathroom alone, so there were webs everywhere. It was dusty and the windows were so grimy you could barely see out – I’m sure they’ve never been cleaned. The sheets weren’t fresh, smelling of sweat and men’s cologne. There was no parking. Only two towels were provided (not even one for the floor), and they were stained and no longer white because they were so old – we used them for the floor and our own (luckily we brought some) for showering. The owner was odd, demanding payment before my husband even saw the room. We felt very uncomfortable.
