The service was great and the location was very convenient for restaurants, shopping, and taxi/Uber pickups. The hotel restaurants were convenient and tasty, and the staff were awesome.

The hotel sits right next to the Vatican, which made getting around a breeze. The lobby looked clean and was well kept. The room itself was small but had a modern feel, and the staff kept it tidy throughout our stay. The only hiccup was that for the first two nights only one elevator was working and the stairs were shut off.

The Pam Supermarkt is nearby and the elevators are quick. The lobby staff were helpful. Every time we walked past the upper rooms we could hear each step, which was very, very, very annoying. A room spray was used in our room, also very, very, very irritating. The sheets were scented, then they smelled bad. The lobby scent was too strong. The rooms were cramped, and the night lockers had no second compartment; there was no way to hang jackets. After paying, we received a notice that a voluntary 5 % service charge would be added – very untrustworthy. The breakfast room was often loud; the squeaking and scratching of the chairs disturbed us. The walls and ceiling should have sound‑absorbing panels. It was very uncomfortable. The scrambled eggs were dry and floated in a watery soup, not appetizing. I had requested a quiet room at booking, but we were given a room on the first floor above the entrance, which was anything but quiet.
