It was a very cozy and relaxing spot in a beautiful old house that probably used to be a farm; the renovation added lovely details, parking was just in front, the bus station was 5 minutes away and 30 minutes to Edinburgh’s center, and the owners were very friendly. The bathroom, however, needs renovation.

I was disappointed that there were no tables or even small chairs to eat at the kitchen, and the cushions were uncomfortable and a bit old.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and they took great care of us; the fireplace in the veranda during breakfast was a nice touch, and the cottage was in a perfect spot. The only downside was having to leave when the vacation ended.

The place was excellent! We liked the quality of the rooms, the breakfast, and especially how helpful the owners were. We would recommend it.
