The staff were rude, and after checking out we lingered by the pool for an hour when a woman told us to leave unless we paid for another night—something I’ve never seen at any hotel. The room was dirty and dingy, and late‑night outside noise was excessive; I wouldn’t recommend it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised: I arrived a bit late and the lamps and AC were already on, the room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the towels were good. Thick walls kept out neighboring noise, the fridge worked perfectly, and the TV and microwave were unused. It was great value for a safe, comfortable one‑night stay, and the property is well managed—10 stars for exceeding expectations at that price. I’d definitely return. Thank you, Avenue Motel!

The hotel's location was one of its strongest points - it was right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the lighting was a bit outdated - they still had those old lamps, which would have been fine if they'd had USB ports to charge our phones.
