A cozy little hotel right in the city center offers good value and makes it easy to explore the lively lower town. The breakfast also provides good value. The only downside is the external noise from the lively terraces at the bottom of Rue de Siam.

The room is small but comfortable. The entrance and reception area feel more like a lodging center than a hotel, and after taking the elevator you’re left with a disgusting hallway on the ground floor up to the second floor, then a corridor before reaching the room, which makes you reluctant to leave once inside. Also, never open your room door to ventilate.

The location is great and the sound insulation is good. The stairwell is very dirty and has a bad odor.

The staff and reception were welcoming. There was no hot water in the room, and it was impossible to change rooms because the front desk was full. The housekeeping lady never came to empty the bins or clean.
