“Wonderful family home stay, clean and tidy very quiet!”

The homestay was wonderful, the owners were sweet and always ready to help. Breakfast with them and their little boy was a delight – the room was clean, very quiet, and the courtyard was perfect. They offered laundry services, though we didn’t use them. The beds were comfortable, a bit firm but fine. The airflow was great and the views from the ruins were stunning. I’d stay again!

The homestay is run by a family and gives the closest local experience. The rooms are small but authentic, with great views and location. Hot water is scarce, pressure is low, and rooms get cold, but those are normal for the area.

We only slept, or rather tried to, at the place. At night there were bamboo log transports, and early in the morning a man was cutting trees. The accommodation is rustic but barely meets the minimum. Hot shower water is very scarce, pressure is nothing, and the temperature runs out and turns cold. If you want soap you can get it. The bathroom is in the room and had an odor that even a closed door couldn’t hold. At night there’s no light in the room, so you need a flashlight or you have to open the door with the key.
