The location was perfect for us because it was right next to the bus station, making a trip to Monschau without a car effortless. However, there was no proper restaurant on site; the Vinothek worked for snacks, but we had to walk into town for a decent dinner.

The hotel is centrally located in Simmerath and offers rooms and apartments in a renovated timber‑frame house with adjoining outbuildings. We were very satisfied with our room; the furnishings are like new, the beds are really comfortable, and the bathroom is modern and very clean—this applies to the whole property. Breakfast is served in the adjacent Vinothek, which also belongs to the Kragemann hotel. The breakfast is truly outstanding and you’re treated with “love.” This level of service and the friendly staff make the Kragemann Hotel our first choice in Simmerath. There was nothing to criticize.
