“APPRECIATION OF ALPENROSLI!”
The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially Gavin; the view of the Jungfrau was perfect. I woke up in the middle of the night to a sky full of close, beautiful stars. Breakfast was excellent—an unusual oven‑cooked scrambled egg that was delicious—and there were also lovely coloured boiled eggs. The bircher‑muesli and the fresh fruit salad were appreciated, and the cheese and charcuterie were very good. The staff were patient when we finished breakfast late, without rushing us or clearing plates. We enjoyed walking through the rose garden and seeing the many beautiful old chalets in the village, and we appreciated being able to park our car in front of the hotel. We’ll return for a longer stay! The room was on the third floor; although the view was marvelous, as a handicapped guest I didn’t like the long set of stairs and there was no lift.
