The room in the old school was a small apartment with enough space, quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant surprises with a modest but varied menu and an exceptional wine selection for northern Germany. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open Thursday‑Friday, which is inconvenient for most business guests.

The breakfasts are good and the staff is polite and helpful. The place itself is very atmospheric and just right for people who enjoy the countryside and peace. The hotel sits in a renovated old school – plenty of rustic wooden furniture, atmospheric equipment and pictures on the walls. From the hotel windows we could see pastures and wandering horses. For breakfast we had to walk to a building about 300‑400 m away, but that was no problem – more of a pleasure because of the surroundings. I especially recommend it for a calm, relaxing stay. The Wi‑Fi works very poorly, which is why I don’t recommend this place to business travelers.

The breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel is an original concept, converted from an old school. The hallway inside the building had a slightly musty smell.

A spacious room with a large bathroom and a good restaurant that served tasty food.
