LVG Hotel Collection - Cavour

The room was close to the station, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. However, it wasn’t a 4‑star hotel room; the window handle was broken, the window wouldn’t close, street noise was audible, the furnishings didn’t match 4‑star quality, and there was no carpet in the bathroom. The staff were extremely polite in addressing needs, but overall it was very expensive for what it offered. A triple suite cost almost 270 € per night, yet the third bed was a sofa, so it was really a triple room, not a suite with a living area.

“Trop chère pour la prestation”

The beds were good, but the photo of the hotel was not representative at all. The hotel is right across from a train station, with the accompanying noise and activity. It’s an old hotel that was renovated a few years ago, and the soundproofing could be much better. For the price paid, this does not match at all. We expected a quiet castle based on the picture, but instead we ended up in a noisy hotel facing the station.

“Sympa mais tout de même stressé”

The suite was large with a terrace, but the décor felt a bit cold. The dog received a gift, thanks, but we had to eat separately from the dining room because they don’t allow dogs, and that was because I asked; otherwise we would have stayed in the suite and paid an extra 15 € for the dog. We pay 15 € for the dog but can’t have it with us everywhere… it’s already hard to find something, and then they say dog‑friendly but it’s not really that upon arrival.

Sehr freundliche Dame am Empfang, und Top Lage. Die Matratze ist in die Jahre gekommen, unbequemes Bett. Und veraltetes Badezimmer
