The value for money is great, the space feels wide and there's a small sofa with a coffee table; the front desk seems open 24 hours and staff are still around late, plus there's an air purifier with humidifying function. Cleaning is very thorough and overall pretty good. The distance to Namba and Dōkūchō is awkward, and there's an extra fee of about 800 yen. On the walk from Dōkūchō to the hotel the whole route smells like smoke. The breakfast variety is decent but can become tedious, and it closes at 9:30 am; check‑out is at 10:00 am. If you want to cook you need to ask first, which is a bit troublesome, so I gave up on that, and the ventilation isn’t great.

It takes about 5–10 minutes on foot from the station, and nearby you’ll find convenience stores, drugstores, supermarkets, and several restaurants. The room is larger than most other Japanese hotels. The hotel was converted from an apartment, so stepping out of the room leads straight into outdoor space; the décor and facilities are dated. It’s close to a major road and the soundproofing is poor, so you can hear traffic at night. There’s only one cramped, unpleasant elevator. The bathroom offers almost no storage besides a towel rack and lacks a shower curtain. The smoking room has a strong odor; if you don’t smoke, definitely skip the smoking room.

The location was very handy for getting around Osaka. The room was pleasant with a nice little lounge area. The bathroom, located on the corridor side, was separated from the room by a door, offering good sound insulation. The staff were very attentive and charming. The laundry room had three washing machines and three dryers. The bathroom had no shelves to place a toiletry bag, and there was only one elevator serving all ten floors.

It’s a very convenient spot to stay, just a stone’s throw from train stations and within walking distance of Osaka’s famous sights. I appreciated the free breads, waffles, cereals and unlimited drinks in the morning, and the shower pressure was fantastic – it was a relief after walking 20 k steps a day.
