The accommodation is picturesque, very pretty, and has a pleasant wood scent. It was well equipped. We were alone. The futons were somewhat uncomfortable; we tried other more comfortable ones, and the room price was not cheap. We found a large long‑legged insect that, after we discovered it was harmless, was a distressing moment because we were traveling with a 7‑month‑old baby.

The necessary facilities were simply provided, so I had no trouble; the kids could play around without danger, they played freely, and I felt glad to have chosen this place; the owner was kind; I would use it again.

You could experience a traditional apartment; the washbasin was small.

We rented a lovely 2 bedroom apartment in Yumoto, close to hot springs access, good restaurants and peaceful shrines, much larger lodging for the price than we could find in Tokyo during our trip, having a kitchen was very helpful and the bus to get to Onahama to go to the aquarium was very close, we would definitely stay there again, we loved that it was quiet and relaxed compared to urban Japan, it was a wonderful part of our trip; because it is so relaxed, shops and restaurants do not open regular hours, they might be open for only 3 hours a day and close randomly when it’s not busy, it was hard to plan meals with kids.
