I booked the room a week in advance. On the day of arrival I wrote that I would be there after a certain time. When I arrived at reception there was no one, only a sign with a phone number. I called and an employee came and said we had cancelled your reservation because you didn’t arrive at the specified time. I explained that I didn’t know the exact time so I said I would be there after that hour. In any case they didn’t give me a room but scrambled to find me a place in another hotel at the same location. The whole situation was very unpleasant.

I had trouble checking in because the reception was empty; after 40 minutes a fellow guest told us to call, and the information was barely visible. Finally, we received our room number via WhatsApp, and someone arrived to collect the payment at 22:30. The communication with guests needs improvement since the reception is never staffed.

The tiny hotel sits right in the historic center of Tbilisi, everything is so charming and very clean. The minor inconveniences are not significant enough to affect my overall impression.

“Pleasant”

The hotel sits in the old city, just about 400 m from the Avlabari metro station, making key sights like the Bridge of Peace, Metekhi Church, Rike Park, the Old Baths, and others easily reachable. The room was cozy with a terrace and a street view. The receptionist was polite and let us check in early. I recommend it for a short stay.
