Too many stairs, the lift only went to floor 2. The beds creaked a lot. Breakfast was awful – no spreads, no fruit, no fresh bread, only bread in plastic packaging. Parking was almost impossible, but it was good that it was locked at night. Breakfast and the rooms were bad.

The location was good. The room was clean but not well‑ventilated, so a musty smell lingered.

A beautiful, atmospheric place to stay. The garden was lovely and the rooms were simple, clean, functional with everything I needed, including an ensuite. Breakfast was included and within walking distance of everything I wanted to see.
