“Lovely location and great potential but not a luxury villa”
The spot is great – quiet, central, and the views are amazing. But the furniture feels old, the fixtures and lighting are sparse and cold, almost neon‑like, and the kitchen equipment is subpar for a villa of this caliber. New hobs, pans, and cutlery would be a must. The washing machine is ancient and partly rusty; we had to clean out a pile of grime inside it. The pool water treatment isn’t working right, so the water stayed stagnant and murky.

The villa sits in a stunning spot with a fabulous ocean view. It’s very spacious, and the veranda is a real bonus – watching the sunset from the SPA is a treat! The pool is large and the garden is beautiful, but we couldn’t enjoy it much due to the weather. We also liked the welcome baskets we received upon arrival. The house would benefit from new equipment (e.g., cutlery, pots, stove, drying rack, etc.) and new beds or mattresses because the current ones aren’t very comfortable. The SPA also lacks a cover, which would help reduce humidity. A dryer and a dishwasher would be a plus, though the value for money remains good.

The place itself was fine, but the villagers were really unwelcoming. I even felt a bit scared because they were aggressive.

We were there during Christmas and were immediately impressed by how our wish for a festive decoration was fulfilled. We were also greeted with a tasty homemade cake and a bottle of red wine – something we hadn’t experienced before! The house is large enough with two bathrooms. The furnishings are complete but fairly simple. It sits on a big plot, quite free, with a gorgeous view of the Atlantic. Communication with the hosts was smooth; any question was answered promptly and solutions were provided quickly when needed.
