I want to thank the owner of the guest house for always helping me during my stay; she arranged the Yandex for me to reach my destination and talked to the driver to drop me exactly where I needed to be; she doesn’t speak English, so we don’t understand each other well, but we try to communicate via Google Translate, which is good enough for us to understand each other; the house is a bit far from the center.

This guesthouse, located in a quiet, under‑used neighbourhood just a 30‑minute walk from Ala‑Too Square, features a lovely little courtyard with a table and chairs beneath a flowering trellis. A working piano is available in the dining room. The owner is very discreet yet very helpful and speaks a bit of English. Cleanliness is impeccable and the bedding is good. Breakfast is hearty and excellent. It’s truly a very good spot. Everything was fine; the only potential drawback is the lack of nearby shops and its relative distance from the city centre, which might be a deal‑breaker for some.
