It’s very central, and the large kitchen is cozy. There was no indication of where the reception was. The steep, narrow spiral staircase is very tight and noisy. The tiny bathroom is a nightmare: the toilet is very low, the shower is narrow, and the toilet lid is glued. At night the heating valve started to whistle loudly even though the heating was turned down. In room 6 there is no blinds or curtains on the small window, and in room 4 there is a danger of falling out of the window.

Everything was very clean, but the shower could be improved; everything else is great.

The location is central in the city center, we had a three‑bedroom room on the second floor, and the bathroom had to be shared with the neighboring room. The spiral staircase going up is narrow.

I booked two nights but left after the first night. The other guests shouted loudly and swore in Polish, slammed doors, smoked near the front door late at night, talked loudly on the phone or listened to music, and even urinated. The host was not present all the time and the guests behaved however they pleased. I was not refunded for the second night; the host only said “I’m sorry” as compensation. I would say the place feels more like a boarding house than a tourist accommodation—sad that my visit to Ravensburg left such a bitter taste.

Familiär und sehr freundlich, professionell in der Ausstattung. Einfach im Ablauf und jederzeit gut in der Betreuung. Die Lage ist toll und Gästehaus Bantle ist mein Lieblingsplatz in Ravensburg geworden
