Located in central Mariehamn, Hotel Arkipelag offers a prime waterfront position, just 50 metres from the marina. Elegant rooms feature private balconies, satellite TVs, and minibars, with some offering sea views or city centre vistas. On-site amenities include three restaurants, a night club, and the Arkipelag Garden for drinks and light meals, within walking distance to Torggatan Shopping Street and the Åland Museum.

Location. The bed was not comfortable.

The staff were genuinely adorable, and the rooms featured beautiful lighting fixtures that are uncommon, lovely, and very pleasant. The sauna and pool were also enjoyable, but aside from the lamps the décor lacked charm.

The bathroom was spacious with plenty of storage, clean and fresh, and the breakfast was good. Nothing else to note.
