I don’t usually stay to sleep, but the lady who attended me was wonderful and very welcoming! There was also a guy at reception whom I liked, but he wasn’t “professional” and I had a disagreement with him. I talked to the owner, who isn’t on site, and aside from that argument, I loved it! The bathroom was poorly cleaned and smelled strong, and the staff didn’t seem professional.

Nothing good. My stay at Marujo Hostel was unforgettable… but for the wrong reasons! 😅 There’s no air conditioning, the only window lacks glass, the beds are uncomfortable, the internet is terrible, and the bathrooms don’t have locks. Hygiene is also lacking, with a musty smell mixed with the fish shop next door – a real aquarium experience! 🐟 On top of that, there’s constant noise, people smoking weed in the lounge, and a not‑very‑professional staff. The perfect recipe for ruined holidays! I absolutely do not recommend it, unless you want to sleep in a stinky sauna with 90s‑era internet.

Great location! Close to the bus station, the beach, downtown, the market, everything. Staff are 10.

Silence was the highlight, but the fish smell was a bit off.
