After a long hike and a trip to Nordkapp, staying at Arran Nordkapp was a pleasure; my room was functional, a bit worn, but offered nice harbour views. The host was friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. A wood‑fired sauna beside the bay made for a great night’s sleep. I didn’t eat dinner there. The value for money was just okay, which I understand given the remote location. The room itself was functional, but there were odd noises in the bathroom. I highly recommend this place for travelers who don’t mind a lack of luxury and enjoy remote harbour villages.

The spot was gorgeous next to the little port. The room was warm, clean, and had a stunning view of the harbor. The hotel is run by a lady (the owner) and her son; from the moment we were welcomed we felt like home with friends. Everything was perfect; when we arrived in the evening we got to eat at the hotel (only one Norwegian daily dish, made with potatoes, fish, and onions… but it was absolutely delicious, homemade by the owner). Breakfast was very varied. It’s a place I’d love to return to.

The location is perfect as the “last” hotel before the North Cape. The bathroom and dinner were bad.
