The place was clean and neat. I asked to pay on arrival and they had no issue, even though we checked in late; the host kept texting to see if we were still on the road. What a lovely host—this will definitely be my next stay again and again. I can’t forget the receptionist—such a kind soul, very humble and always smiling, welcoming us with warm hands. The only drawback was that the room didn’t have air conditioning, or at least a fan; mosquitoes kept biting us, so we had to go buy cream.

The hosts were absolutely lovely, so friendly and welcoming. They really made an effort to make me feel at home, and it showed in the little touches they added to the room. Unfortunately, the rest of the place was a bit of a letdown.

The location is a major plus, just a short walk from the Waterfront. However, our experience with the cleaner was a letdown. She seemed to do her own thing, and we'd often return to find our rooms hadn't been cleaned yet. It wasn't just the lack of cleaning that was an issue, but also the fact that she'd often be watching movies on her phone while we were out. To top it off, the braai area was in a state of disrepair, with weeds growing everywhere and chairs scattered all over the place.

The location was one of the best things about this place - it was close to the CBD and Somerset West, making it easy to get around. But, unfortunately, that's where the good stuff ended. The rooms were dirty, the wifi was practically non-existent, and the bathroom was a tiny, windowless box. To top it all off, the outlets were in some of the most inconvenient places I've ever seen.
