The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the cleanliness was impeccable, but the room was far too small – no space for a small chair or anything, you can only lie in bed. The restaurant was very good and affordable. The room was just too tiny.

The lakefront location was lovely. The reception staff were welcoming, and the restaurant food was good. The shower in the bathroom was hard to use for older people, and there was no non‑slip mat.

This was my second stay here, and I chose it because it’s close to the motorway yet still quiet and secluded enough for a relaxing night. Plenty of parking was available, pets were very welcome, and we received a doggie goodie bag on arrival. We dined at the hotel for dinner and breakfast and had time for a pleasant walk around the grounds. Other than the hotel itself, there isn’t much else nearby (restaurants or attractions, etc.), so I wouldn’t stay there if I wanted to visit Dunkirk.

The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. I especially want to highlight that this place is not just dog‑friendly; dogs are truly welcome, with a dog blanket and a small welcome stick with treats and a tennis ball for play! Exceptional!
