The reception staff were very attentive, but parking was an issue; we managed to park our car in the yard.

The location was lovely, we were warmly welcomed, the lodge itself was splendid, the vegetation was well maintained, and breakfast was excellent. However, there were few parking spots and the hotel entrance was steep; as an older guest, I struggled to climb the many stairs with my luggage.
