The overall facilities were fine, the rooms were comfortable and the location was convenient. The only downside was that you had to climb a spiral staircase to reach the rooms, which was hard when you had large luggage.

“Casa Castillo muy bonita, pero no tuve suerte con mi habitacion”

The house is in a great spot, room 1 was clean and the bathroom was tidy, the towels were old but clean, the bed was comfy, and it had a fridge, coffee maker, TV and fan. Room 1 sits on the corner of Leibnitz and Curie with a window on each street, so there was noise almost all night and when it seemed quiet, a tamale vendor would come at 5 am and stand in front of the Leibnitz window, so you hear all the customers’ stories… without extra cost. They offer earplugs but they’re uncomfortable… the windows need better insulation. The room is a good size for one person but very humid.

“Exceptional find in a phenomenal location”

The location was outstanding, the staff were super responsive, I loved the historic vibe of the hotel, it was spotlessly clean, and every employee was incredibly kind.
