The bed was very large and the mattress very comfortable. We also enjoyed the wellbeing facilities – very cool and very relaxing. The room was cold and they told us it would warm up at 11, which we didn’t like because we were cold, and in winter heating rooms at 11 seemed very late.

The room design was very good and the size was suitable. Breakfast was plentiful, with a wide selection and very fresh. The location right next to the mall was ideal for us, and the city centre was just a 10‑minute bus ride (the stop is directly in front of the door and the frequency is high). The lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom, was very sparse.

The room was quiet, the bed slept well, a bottle of water was a nice gift, and coffee in the room was great. Breakfast was extensive and good. The bus link to downtown Maastricht is good. I asked for a double bed but got two single ones. The fridge was noisy. The gym was okay but the equipment was very dated. Fresh water and towels were fine.
