The place was amazing. The location was super. The staff here were wonderful and helpful. Every detail in the rooms was thought out and useful. It felt like heaven on earth. Thanks for a good rest.

“A peaceful riverside retreat with exceptionally caring hosts”

We checked in mid‑August and it was the ideal spot to decompress after Bangkok’s hustle. Right by the river and surrounded by nature, it gives a calm vibe to unwind. The owner was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. If you need breakfast, snacks, or dinner, just WhatsApp and they’ll get it to you fast. The crew and drivers were also very kind. A shuttle runs for a flat 200 baht to nearby spots. We drove to Erawan National Park, about an hour away. The driver waited over four hours while we explored, and the whole trip cost 1,600 baht. Kanchanaburi is about an hour away, Bangkok roughly three. Breakfast offers an American style with eggs or one of three Thai dishes. The barbecue is a must‑try; the meat grills right on the terrace. The beds were super comfy, rooms spotless, Wi‑Fi strong. We’d gladly come back, either to chill with our teenage sons or to float downstream with life jackets, a raft, and a longtail boat. A fantastic experience and highly recommended! The only downside is that it’s far from Kanchanaburi. Getting hot food in the room is tough because the kitchen is far away. The only non‑Thai breakfast is the American option (eggs, bacon, toast, sausages) with nice fruit. With so few rooms, that’s understandable. The shower isn’t very strong, but it’s okay.

The property was immaculate and had everything that we needed. The food was excellent and the hosts sorted drivers for us. The setting is beautiful and peaceful

“Prachtige locatie!”

Beautiful location, neat rooms, very friendly reception. The spot is a bit remote. That makes it nice in terms of location, but you’re entirely dependent on the guesthouse. Note: the taxi took us to the wrong place, The River Life Resort. We also expected a room on the floating part of the water, but that wasn’t the case upon arrival. We were allowed to move later that day for a surplus.

“Fijn verblijf in een prachtige omgeving”

We stayed in the deluxe raft rooms. They’re truly fantastic! Spacious with a lovely terrace by the river. Comfortable bean‑bags and a neat area above the water where you can relax, read a book, or enjoy the view. Great breakfast and the option to order other meals and drinks to enjoy on the terrace. If you needed anything or wanted to go somewhere, just message the owner and it was arranged right away. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. Tip: visit the nearby hot springs. The location is a bit isolated when it comes to restaurants and shops. The beds felt a bit hard for me.
