The apartment sits in a strategic spot in the middle of the island of Ortigia, but there is significant noise from nearby restaurants, and additional noise from the restaurant supply deliveries. Cleaning and garbage collection happen at 3 a.m., and the owners should address the low water pressure that makes showering difficult.

It was a little noisy, but not terrible—living in a semi‑rural town, I’m used to crickets, haha. The place was centrally located, within walking distance of the beach and all the tourist sights. On our first day, the power went out in our room alone; the hotelier swapped rooms almost immediately, which we were very grateful for. Overall, there is nothing to dislike.

The establishment is exceptional: the décor is very polished, the makeup remover kit, water, and fridge are provided, and the roof was perfect. The water flow is too weak.

The location behind the cathedral is excellent, the room has a mini fridge, and the staff are helpful. During the Ferragosto week the street was very traffic‑heavy and noisy, and there was no bidet.
