We were greeted warmly and the breakfast was brilliant, featuring pancakes, waffles, and plenty of toppings. We loved the location and the novelty of staying on a boat. The shower flooded on the first day, but that issue was fixed.

The only good thing was the location and the bed was not uncomfortable. The lights went out and didn’t return until the next day. The alarm went off at night because of dampness. Towels weren’t replaced. The service person ignored you and overlooked everything. In the morning you wake up with leaks in the bed.

The manager was polite and apologised when we explained what had happened. The location and the accommodation itself may have been suitable for our stay, but unfortunately, our overall experience was seriously affected by the problems we encountered. The main entrance door access system was not working when we returned at approximately 1:30 a.m. Despite repeatedly calling the property's contact number and sending WhatsApp messages, we received no response or assistance. We were left outside in the cold for around an hour, while all our belongings remained locked inside our room. As we had no way to enter the building or get help from the staff, we had no choice but to find alternative accommodation in the middle of the night, which cost us an additional €81. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that two weeks have now passed since I submitted a formal complaint, and the hotel has still not responded. I requested reimbursement for the additional accommodation costs and fair compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused, but I have received no reply. Overall experience: A reliable entrance system and accessible emergency assistance are basic requirements for any accommodation. Being unable to access our room in the middle of the night, having to pay for another place to stay, and then being ignored after submitting a formal complaint is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and accountability has made an already stressful experience even worse. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and improves both its access arrangements and its customer service. Based on this experience, I would be reluctant to stay here again
