Ramsgate Hotel by Nightcap Social

The staff was nice, but the music was very loud until 11 pm and the street noise was high. I expected a hotel, not a hostel, and I was surprised to find a shared bathroom only mentioned in side notes, not in the room titles. For the price I paid, I expected an own bathroom and noise‑cancelling windows. I won’t recommend this hostel.

The location is good, but the balcony is inaccessible, it was very noisy until late (my fault for not checking), there is no bathroom/toilet in the room (again, my fault for not checking properly), and there is no designated parking for guests.

I stayed in a clean room with a shared bathroom and a small kitchen area for coffee; the place is close to Henly beach. Parking was inconsistent, but I managed to find a side street without restrictions nearby.

The location was great, the rooms were clean and tidy, and it was a nice spot for a few days while visiting my sister and her family. The staff at the hotel and the pub below were excellent, and everything was perfect.

The place felt familiar, but it got a bit noisy in the summer because the windows aren’t double‑insulated.
