The location is spot‑on, right next to Zagreb’s highway bus station. The staff were efficient and spoke English, and the furniture and bed were top‑tier. The place was clean. However, the price of 159 EUROS felt steep for what the hotel offered: no elevator, no lobby—just a reception desk with a chair. Inside the room, there was no kettle, no coffee machine, and the fridge didn’t work (was it unplugged?). Basic extras like tea, a water bottle, or anything else expected at that rate were missing. Compared to the excellent Hotel Jezero in Plitvice, which cost 60 EUROS less per night, this hotel seemed to focus on high‑quality furnishings while skimping on the rest—breakfast, room service, and staff numbers. The reception was understaffed after 10 pm, which is understandable given the cramped, small space. Overall, the price was driven by the convenient location near the highway station, but 159 EUROS is still too high when matched against other hotels or rooms at similar rates.
