Excellent service, the staff were very friendly, and even when I arrived late and the kitchen was closed, I could still order something to eat, which I really appreciated. No complaints.

The building is quite old, a charming timber‑framed house, and the local restaurant was nice with good food. The stairs leading to the rooms are worn out and could use some repair. A €20.00 breakfast fee is acceptable, but I was puzzled to see an extra €41.00 charged to my bill and would like to know why.

The location is great. The breakfast, however, consists of the cheapest discount items: poorly baked rolls and stale bread, with no fruit or yogurt offered.

The kitchen in the evenings and mornings was excellent; upon arrival the trash bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied, otherwise everything was clean and tidy.

The Crown Post is in a great central spot on the market square and the kitchen and food are good, but you’d be better off staying elsewhere to sleep; the room was tiny and very basic with just a bed, wardrobe and TV, the furnishings looked past their prime, the bed was unbearable, summer nights were sleepless past midnight, and the external ventilation could be heard inside the rooms. I booked two nights, cancelled after the first, and checked out.
