The place was calm, clean, with a lovely garden and rooms that were tidy; breakfast was very tasty. The location was great, a quiet spot close to everything by a short car ride. However, there was a damp smell in the rooms, the jacuzzi was actually outside and not usable when it got cooler because no one told us, and heating was missing in all rooms except one, so I wouldn’t recommend staying in colder months. Also, breakfast was outdoors, which was lovely, but there were so many wasps that it was hard to eat—nothing the owners could control, but you should be careful.

I was disappointed that the hotel had no pool, and the photos even showed a jacuzzi that wasn’t there either. The room was cold, and there was no reception when we arrived.

“Charming and peaceful, a bit humid tho.”

The location is great and the building looks like a fresh new project, so the staff seems eager to do a good job. Because it’s still new, a few things need fixing; the biggest problem was the humidity in our room – everything felt damp, from the sheets to our clothes and towels. The rooms are in charming little buildings that feel very typical of the area, so hopefully better ventilation or airflow will solve the issue.
