The train station is right next to the highway, and the place is fairly quiet thanks to better sound insulation; there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The heating wasn’t working, so the temperature dropped to 10 °C at night, but after telling reception—where a very kind gentleman helped—an extra blanket was provided.

I didn’t like arriving at 21 h and having to search for the hotel because the address on Booking didn’t match; I ended up checking two other BB Hotels before finding the right one after 700 km, which was not great. Then there was a problem with the computer outside that took over 30 minutes, and finally someone from the hotel came down so I could get my room. First time experiencing so many inconveniences.

Coming from Reims via the A20, I appreciated how easy it was to reach the hotel, the secure parking, and the welcome. Traveling with my small dog, I was given a ground‑floor room to make it easier to come and go. The room temperature was a bit too high.
