The cloister’s atmosphere is nice, and the reception is very well placed in the hyper‑center. The room feels old, and there is no elevator.

The spot is truly great, right in the heart of Alghero, near nice restaurants, yet still close enough to parts of town where you can leave a car. The man at reception stayed late to check me in after midnight, which was very helpful. The breakfast location in the former cloisters is lovely, but the spread is a bit basic, mainly sweet pastries, though the coffee is excellent.

Breakfast was excellent in the beautiful cloister, the location is central, and everything is simple and clean.
