Super beautiful, but the stay was too short. The B&B is small and dreamy in a wonderful little mountain village, just like one imagines original Italy. The hosts were very nice and even ran a small farm shop with a museum vibe, a little hidden gem. Checking in here is a good choice, especially if you’re after peace and quiet. In the small garden you can relax under the kiwi tree and daily regional breakfast is served there. Truly worth a stay, thanks Rob and Yolanda for the lovely days.
The host and her husband were a great pair and everything was arranged nicely. The spot is in a lovely old Italian village, and the little church with the clock was a highlight. No complaints – everything matched the price.
“Ruhig und abgelegen”
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the secluded setting made it very quiet. There are no air‑conditioned rooms. Getting to Coner Lake is tough without a car or e‑bike, and the village’s narrow streets prevent any direct access to the accommodation.
“Lokacija presenečenja”
A bit far from Como, you need a car. The path is well marked and there's an extra video. The architecture along the route from the parking to the lodging is interesting, unlike today's big cities. Parking is free, you wander through narrow streets, so it's not great to have a lot of luggage. The breakfast is original and heartily prepared, outside under the kiwi tree. Rob and Yolanda are very friendly. Outside was hot, inside even hotter, it's an old house, renovated. It's an attic lodging. But a plastic fan was mounted on the ceiling, which whirred more than it cooled. The whirring was not enjoyable at night.
The lodging is charming and rustic, rooms are spotless and breakfast is very indulgent. Yulanda and the other hosts are delightful, going above and beyond, even arranging breakfast early for us because we had to leave early. The approach to the place involves a short walk through the village from the parking lot, and there’s only a fan in the rooms, so it got a bit warm at night during the heatwave.
