The owner Mr. Rui and his staff were very polite and kind. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options and a delicious couscous. The hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood close to a market and pharmacy. The nearby beaches—Maceió and Xepa—lack beachfront facilities, so you have to travel to Tourinhos beach, which offers beautiful scenery plus bars and restaurants. The place is calm and peaceful, great for slowing down. Initially the location seemed a bit far from Tourinhos beach, but driving fixes that. I rode a motorbike taxi and moved between the beach and the beach clubs. Note: I had an issue with the bathroom sink; as a short person I had to stand on my tiptoes to reach the tap and wash my face. If the tap had a longer arm, everything would have been fine. A tip 😃

The friendliness, high spirits, and kindness of the staff—Felipe, Magno, and others—were the highlights. The cleanliness was also impressive, the breakfast tasty, and the owners, especially Rui, were very welcoming.
